I forgot how foreign my diet is. Saw family yesterday and they looked at my hummus and veggie burgers like they were from outer space. One person kept making snide remarks about the Gardein meats, and was paranoid about being served them, and kept saying "meatttt". I expected more maturity from a 30-something year old...

I feel alone.

@kolev Knowing what to do is hard. Ignoring it is probably best. That way they're not getting the rise out of you that they're probably seeking. At least it's a great opportunity to practice #groundedness, #centredness, and #mindfulness. A moment may arise when you could or should say, "What you're doing is #bullying," and nothing afterward. I agree that having to manage your #family's #disrespectful behaviour is 🙄
