I've been trying to tell the people living in the nearby homeless encampments about this, but they just won't listen. "Stocks are up because of Biden" I say, but they block their ears. "Biden is working to make the 'economy' stronger," and they try to spit at me. When I told them, "The cops and military personnel bulldozing their tent communities are just prepping and 'cleaning up' for profitable development," they surrounded me menacingly. Then I said, "Remember the stakes! Vote blue no matter what they do to you." Those ingrates! Even hobbled by hunger and sickness, they found the energy to chase after me shouting, "we stand with the railway workers, and the Palestinians!"

So, as the 82 year old gives billions more to the war machine, the "Trump is worse" refrain will not fly! More than 50% of the nation will again refuse to sully their consciences on these disgusting men.

Christo-Fascists vs Corporate-Fascists. Now, begin the debate on which which essential element of fascism is better/preferable. Both State religion AND blending of State and Corporate power are foundational to working fascism.

Also, Trump and his ilk are people without conscience, so I especially like when it's suggested others abandon theirs for a cause the don't support. Become Trump to defeat Trump. Let's teach that to the kids.

We will not and cannot vote our way out of this horror we built from our greed and arrogance.

I am a blueberry in the tomato soup down here, and I had never seen so many tantrum-throwing grown adults damn-near foaming in the mouth, wide eyed and cursing at other people just for being different than them than when The Dump was in office (and through that crazy inauguration time after).

The biggest difference between the die-hard believers on Dump's side is many of them think those who don't believe like them should be lined up against a wall and shot, and yet, we don't think they should have that happen to them. At least, that's what I've gleaned from hearing casual conversation that can get ugly quick over the years. My mom was like this, matter of factly, bible right next to her elbow--which she read every day--while cursing more than any sailor, drinking like a fish, and spouting on and on about "Them" (whoever "them" was that week, usually Dems).

@WarnerCrocker and more importantly, you must vote in (along with Biden) a decent majority in both houses of Congress so he can actually get things done including fixing the Supreme Court. I think the last time we had a Democratic President that had a functioning Congress was Lyndon Johnson. Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, Obama were all blocked from truly progressive steps.

@Probertd8 Well, De novo he won’t even get on enough ballots in enough states to have a shot. So it’s tossing away a vote. Perot had an organization. Kennedy does not.

The differences are in houses and system of government.
