@jeffjarvis sure but the president is set. SCOTUS has spoken and it will be much harder to impeach for an official act, even if they don't like it. There is a silver lining here.

I don't see this as a silver lining because of how bad things will get before the pendulum swings. We do not want both sides getting away with murder.
My silver lining is that we do outnumber them, and, hopefully, this could be the jolt that gets everyone off the bench and in the fight. We can no longer take democracy for granted.

It's getting crazy everywhere. The Netherlands will install an extreme-right government this week. With members that expressed racist opinions and much more. With followers that feel entitled now to attack gay, Jewish, black, and you name it that's not 'pure' in the streets.
My heart bleeds.

@jeffjarvis This is the right attitude. Trump's actions deemed not to be official are NOT covered by the immunity clause. Trumps' legal woes have not diminished by this decision. Your solution is the best short term one- don't elect an ass and you have less to worry about. "The President is NOT above the law." IS CLEARLY ESTABLISHED IN THIS DECISION.

Zero talk of expanding the court which is the only realistic option of undoing some of the damage. There is no sense of urgency or willingness to fight for anything.
