FYI - all daylilies are #edible. I didn't munch on this one as it's in a park. I respect leaving it for others to enjoy/admire. I want to taste one of them to find out if the lemon daylilies have a lemony taste. I'm curious about their taste.

The daylilies I cultivate in our gardens are mostly orange, pink & red. They don't have much distinctive flavours but petals added to salads makes for a prettier look 😊

@PhoenixSerenity I've tasted, & eaten, many daylilies. They all taste like daylilies to me. Scent can vary a little, so check for a lemony scent (though I'd be very surprised if they did) , & by all means taste them. Yellow daylilies seem to more commonly have a nice scent. Others might be bland (still pretty, though). Maybe you will find something unique. So then you might need to befriend some park people. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Here are some from my garden.

@KeithDJohnson I will taste more & post videos about taste testing. I grow lots of edible flowers. I'm going to ask local gardeners, with different day lilies, if I can please taste a petal or two!
