@matt And yet, an undeserved fx Oscar (unless the true reward was the best budget/results fx in a movie).

Not disagreeing, as the effects had some lower technical quality bits, but artistically I thought it was great.

@matt Yeah, shot design was great and I will add also the editing, which uses long shots with little to no camera shake which made fx more enjoyable. Good film tho.

I think The Creator (more grounded look) or Guardians of the Galaxy (superb in his own style) deserved the win.

@ideimos True, I didn’t love The Creator overall, but the effects were stunning, and the way they did them was super innovative.
