As I’m getting older and time feels like it’s speeding up I’m reassured by how impossibly long an unskippable 30-second ad can feel.

An unskippable 30s ad is thankfully only about 4-5 seconds in practice - the time you need to close the tab and never return.

My finger hovers over the "skip" icon as I curse myself for forgetting the ad blocker...

@Chrishallbeck the anger I feel after paying for the “ad free” version of Paramount+ and still getting these is palpable.

The skip button, and the ad blockers, have SPOILED us all. Y'see, back in MY day, we had 5-minute ad segments _in the middle of the show_!!! MAdness.
