My playtest at a local game store got pushed back to next week, but I may get some coworkers to give it a go on Friday. Excited to see how my changes play out.

Playtest was a success, although I need to be a better moderator.
My game is reasonable, but too complex for someone who isn’t into board games. That’s not a bad thing, but it meant that today I was spending too much time telling people “This is how you do it” when I should have been saying, “What do you think you need to do next?”
Good learning for my technique and some insights for the game overall. #boardgamedesign #tabletopgamedesign #boardgames #tabletopgames #gamedesign #FlightNineteen
@grayson I meant to reply earlier but this is very true. I work with a number of (non-game) developers and their insights have been very helpful. It’s those logical and analytical minds at work.
I actually had a couple who followed up with me today with ideas. “I was thinking about your game over the weekend.” Which that alone was awesome to hear.
