@salakala that one’s the #Tandem t:connect app. I use it for insight into my #insulin bc it is tied to my pump & #CGM. But, since #diabetes is bullshit, I also use 2 others.
The #Dexcom #G7 app doesn’t log insulin automatically but is the first stop from my CGM, so I look at it when time is critical & I can’t rely on timely updates to the others.
But, neither gives you the +/- on your BG, which is important when you’ve got #hypobrain, so I also use #Sugarmate.
So stupid 🙄
Thanks for clarifying, @VTDARKSIM!
Curious what are the 2 other applications?
Edit: those 2 are listed in toot. Morning brain fog in action.
I've forsaken the Dexcom app and went with #xdrip which uploads to a #NightScout instance for off-device logging and reporting.
@VTDARKSIM, the documentation for #Xdrip+ can be found here: https://xdrip.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ There IS a learning curve. On the bright side, you don't have to abandon #Dexcom completely and IIRC it's possible to use both. I'm assuming you're using Android. There is similar app for iOS as well but I'm not fluent in Apple.
Disconnects prolly are due to application getting evicted from phone's memory and being a battery optimisation "feature".
@salakala thanks for sharing. I’ll take a look at that soon.
For as much home automation stuff I do, you’d think I was on an Android but no, I’ve got an iPhone. It is what it is.
