Kevin Jardine@DEWLine @BadSocialism @larrynemecek @jswhitten GJ 3414 is a dim M2 class red dwarf. Not sure whether life would exist there. However, according to Simbad, HD 10226 is a G1V type Sun-like star. Surely much more likely?

That bugged me, too, which is why I devised the “ wide – open” metaphor for Stellar Cartography, based on the same idea from the Persian Gulf War: the dash to Baghdad across open empty desert once you broke through the border defenses with Kuwait.
