I think it's probably time to make a new #introduction post since my life picture has, well, changed pretty radically since my last one!

I'm a #queer man from Italy, and I am working as a researcher in #Korean studies at a quaint little university in #Tuscany, also Italy. I hope to become a university professor in the future. I have a second degree in #wine studies as well, which I’m currently only using to be obnoxious at parties.

I am #Jewish (a convert) and I belong to the local Progressive Jewish community. I like #videogames, especially indie and/or narrative ones (but I'm also an avid #FFXIV player), I dabble in #photography at an amateur level, and I love #food and #LanguageLearning - apart from my degree in Korean studies I've studied a handful of them academically or through self-study, and I wish I had more time to pursue #hebrew and #spanish.

Feel free to send a toot if you post about any of my interests - or even if you don't and you just want to say hi!

@avibenavi Nice to meet you 👋 What would be your best ressource to learn Hebrew? Hopefully, you won’t say Duolingo 🫣.
@freddy35 Sadly, I mostly use actual books! Duolingo is terrible, definitely wouldn't recommend it. If you aren't already aware of it, however, pealim.com is an online dictionary that has full conjugation of verbs and full listing of forms for nouns and prepositions, which I find invaluable to learn!
@avibenavi I have never heard about this online dictionary. I’ll definitely gonna have a look. Thanks so much for the tip !
