@protonmail Now it's only missing a #ProtonDrive app for #Linux :)
@occirol It's part of our plans too!
@protonmail @occirol Glad to hear it! Can't wait!
@protonmail can't wait for the linux version πŸ₯°
@bastien It's part of our plans too!
@protonmail #google like account integration with #linux when?
@protonmail Linux please, the only feature prevents me to drop my Syncthing.
@protonmail Does that mean we can get hopes up for Linux support next year maybe?
@protonmail Instant download πŸŽ‰! Only thing is that for some reason the Dutch website (so /nl/drive/download) still said "coming soon" so I had to go to the international website
@sebastiaan Sorry about that, it should be all right now.
@protonmail Yay, congrats Proton team! You just keep getting better.
@protonmail me, waiting for Linux app and CLI.
@btp @protonmail I would be satisfied with just rsync support
@zlendy @protonmail looks like the Mac app is similar to DropBox, wherein a synced filesystem is added to your home directory. Rsync works with this.
@btp @protonmail If only we could get the same feature on linux... Oof.
@zlendy @protonmail I'm going to go out on a limb and expect the Linux app to be the same.
@protonmail cool. but I'm very disappointed by the lack of Proton Bridge for users with a free account.
I pay for SimpleLogin and don't need a paid account for now, and I don't want to use webmail.
@protonmail awesome news! 😍
@protonmail Great news! Now do Calendar! 😁
@protonmail for real did you just released proton drive first for mac and not linux???
@protonmail what about Linux? Can you give any indicative date? Spring 2024? Autumn 2030?
@protonmail

I moved recently to Proton from Google Workspace. I'm quite happy with the service, but the lack of drive sync for MacOS was a major gap I was counting would be filled. This is the news I was waiting for.
Looking forward to the Linux app.
@protonmail Thank you. and I'm waiting, next app version. β€œNext on our roadmap is the ability to sync any folder on your Mac with Proton Drive, a popular feature of our Windows app.” (https://proton.me/blog/proton-drive- mac-app) #ProtonDrive #macos #cloud #storage
@protonmail As far as I can see it’s not yet possible to sync any other folder than a default one. Is it in the plans to link other folders to sync? Like, external backup drive for example?
@oleksify Since the app was just released, it's too early to give timelines on future improvements that we'll introduce into the app. That said, we've documented your request to help our team prioritize future improvements.

@protonmail
Is there a Linux version in planning?
That would be great and i could instantly drop Dropbox πŸ˜‹

Ok, question was asked and answered.
Yes πŸ˜€

@protonmail Any chance you consider making proton drive available through App Store?
@kavehmz Not at this time but we will pass the feedback along to the team.
@protonmail
This is great! How about us Linux folk? Any plans for that? Thank you!
