@zlendy @protonmail looks like the Mac app is similar to DropBox, wherein a synced filesystem is added to your home directory. Rsync works with this.

@protonmail cool. but I'm very disappointed by the lack of Proton Bridge for users with a free account.
I pay for SimpleLogin and don't need a paid account for now, and I don't want to use webmail.

I moved recently to Proton from Google Workspace. I'm quite happy with the service, but the lack of drive sync for MacOS was a major gap I was counting would be filled. This is the news I was waiting for.
Looking forward to the Linux app.

@protonmail As far as I can see it’s not yet possible to sync any other folder than a default one. Is it in the plans to link other folders to sync? Like, external backup drive for example?
