Will have to close it down for a moment while I investigate an issue with iOS not finding the app's Shortcuts actions, which of course only happens in release builds 🙄

@_inside I’ve had to wait for > 24h for new shortcut actions to show up from apps from the store after updating, like Halide. It’s happened in debug builds too but with less of a delay. May be a different issue if you’re certain that it’s only release builds but it sounds the same.

@_inside Welcome to the fun of Apple's awful extension handling...

A device restart usually fixes this, otherwise, changing the device language to something else and then back.

@_inside No idea, sorry. But you should know better than using brand new features (AppIntentsPackage). Always buggy without exception. 🤣

@sindresorhus I figured out a workaround. I really need the feature in order to make this project viable, so I had no choice but to use it. Apparently no Apple app is currently using AppIntentsPackage, so I'm definitely going to regret this when they break it in the future 😂 https://mastodon.social/@_inside/111250735135215521

@_inside @viticci Installed it on my iPhone (iOS 17.0.3) and iPad (iPadOS 17.0.3), but none of the actions show up in Shortcuts.

What am I doing wrong?

@Sumocat @_inside @viticci Federico talked about it on Connected and that action was not sufficient for what he needed because it doesn't let you know if you are on the lock SCREEN, which is apparently the important thing to know for his Shortcuts.

@_inside @viticci Is it possible to get the ambient light sensor data with Shortcuts? I’d like to toggle the flashlight with the action button when it’s dark and do something else otherwise. If that’s not already possible, please try to include it in the app and get it through app review
