Humanity could have spent its days chasing butterflies and watching sunsets and loving each other and instead I have to download an app and make an account to access the office printer
@sortius @ely @osmanthus I came here to do this not realizing it was 'a thing'
@noodle @ely @osmanthus hehehe, yeh, that image has been posted a few times, and fellow Brother preachers jump on it πŸ˜†

@dramypsyd

Kill it with fire.

@rl_dane

PC LOAD LETTER? WTF DOES THAT MEAN?

@topher

Oh man, those were such innocent days.

@SmartmanApps @dramypsyd

I swear my printer is the only thing I own that always just works consistently without problems 🀷

@topher @dramypsyd
Mine's kaput. It only rarely jammed, but now it's decided it doesn't want to pick up the paper in the first place, which kinda makes it hard to print anything πŸ™‚
@SmartmanApps @topher @dramypsyd My printer worked awesome for two solid years, very dependable. Then suddenly just crapped out and now I need to gently coax it to do anything other than gulp paper and jam. Nothing at changed in how it was used or placed. I’m not one for conspiracy, but it seemed like a little switch flicked off or something.
@topher @SmartmanApps @dramypsyd We bought our laser printer on sale for $30.00 when Office Max went out of business. They even gave us lots of paper. And we've also never had problems with it.
@SmartmanApps @dramypsyd I got a Brother printer+scanner combo for $60 8 years ago and it's still in pretty good shape. Not bad for something I bought with no research at Staples.
@dramypsyd don't forget multifactor authentication!
@dramypsyd And that's why I think Star Trek isn't an accurate depiction of the future - if it were, they would still have printers on the bridge. And they'd be broken
@dramypsyd I really like to think that some how some where a small handful of people are actually spending their days chasing butterflies and watching sunsets and loving each other. I don’t believe it. But I like to think it.

@dramypsyd

If it is an HP - don't bother.

You definitely have a better way worked out on how to spend your life. - Send it to the copy shop. Printing is overrated anyway. ;)

@dramypsyd buy a new TV, wtf, need an account and phone app
@dramypsyd Reality & networking constraints can be real bitches.
@dramypsyd
They called us hippies. They hated us. Still do. 8^)

@dramypsyd

There is this tendency to find solutions to problems, creating new problems that need to be solved, creating other problems needing to be solved, . . .

A blog about famous quotations (quotes that most people are or should be familiar with)

@dramypsyd

"Listen, this whole system of yours could be on fire and I couldn't even turn on the kitchen tap without filling out a twenty-seven B stroke six... bloody paperwork."

The Ministry of Information turned out to be a bunch of technobros trying to monetize our every move and want.
