@Miriamm To be honest, neither of them are defensible in any sense of the word.
However, whereas one took a long time to see the error of his ways (most of them, anyway), the other never thinks what he's doing is wrong. The latter actively wants his company in bankruptcy and/or legal trouble via his actions, even if he doesn't see it.
There's a reason why he is sometimes referred to by name as the letter he loves using.
