Kyle Rittenhouse is being sued by the estate of the mentally disturbed man Rittenhouse shot four times and killed.

Rittenhouse’s response:

“These lawsuits are making it harder and harder for me to move on with my life”

The amount of cope white men feel after doing something horrible could power a city

Do you know what else makes it hard to move on with your life?

Being murdered

@flexghost

If you kill a man, you should not be able to move on with your life, that is the whole point...

Unbelievable...

@xs4me2 even the Bible (which they claim to love above all else) says he needs to be sequestered in a sanctuary city or be given the same fate

@flexghost

An eye for an eye...

@flexghost But, that does not count for white supremacy racists... it seems...
@xs4me2 @flexghost
Context matters. I don't think self-defense is the same as first or second degree murder. Is it legal to own a gun and use it for self-defense in the US? Yes. Was it self-defense against mortal injury? Yes. Do police do the same in the US? Yes. You just write and I quote "An eye for an eye...". I don't think you have the mental capacity to make a logical decision regarding this event or any loss of life event that includes someone taking a life. I do not support that person who carry automatic firearms in the middle of the road.Neither I also don't support his freedom being used for some people's political agenda.

@turretjust @flexghost

Look, Rittenhouse went out into the street with an AR15 during a civil unrest. He went looking for trouble, killed 2 persons and wounded another.

"An eye for an eye..." is a commandment found in the Book of Exodus 21:23–27 expressing the principle of reciprocal justice measure for measure.

Killing 2 persons and wounding another and then be acquitted is not justice.

Context matters.

@xs4me2 @flexghost What he did was self-defense and legal by US laws. As he found not guilty. You can find "An eye for an eye" in other historical vocabulary older than Jesus and bible. If your logic and ethics from 3500 Years ago and can't comprehend modern rehabilitation options and modern reasoning and ask for another human death, You should care about your compos mentis before questioning jurisdiction of a another man.

@turretjust @flexghost

Guess you should stick with sharing cat pictures or go to X (twitter).

Good luck with your assumptions!

@xs4me2 @flexghost I love cats. check my cat posts account but not consider my opinion on your biased lobbyists idea that you clearly not own.

Try to be happy by feeling included in life that ideology of others.

@turretjust @xs4me2

Wow.

AI almost sounds like humans. Almost.

@flexghost @xs4me2 Is this "I am human so I am right on my opinion cus I have them" moment? I am sorry to offend "I don't have personality other than US politics" person. I would not argue with people that don't have ethic and logic education anymore. Its totally problem of my end.@absolutejank, Go on agree with guy that ask for "eye for an eye" without knowing the meaning of it. Stay in bauble. such disdainfulness

@turretjust @flexghost @absolutejank

Goodbye ChatGPT instance ;)

@turretjust @flexghost @absolutejank

ChatGPT:

Engaging in productive and respectful conversations with others, even when you disagree, can be more constructive than dismissing their opinions outright. It's possible to share your perspective and knowledge in a way that promotes understanding and encourages open dialogue.

@turretjust @flexghost @absolutejank

ChatGPT:

Disagreements are natural, and it's okay to have strong opinions, but approaching conversations with empathy and patience can lead to more meaningful discussions and potential for learning on both sides.

@turretjust @flexghost

Great, then at least we have something in common (yuck).

Cannot make up my mind if you are a bot, a troll or just a MAGA adept...

What is your opinion on the Russian war of aggression?

@xs4me2 I do not live in US. I did not vote in US. I do not care about US politics unless it effects humankind and for the better good. I do not agree with you and I stated my opinion as a person that believes ethics and logic.
That is my right to do so. You might not agree with me and I am fine with not sharing same opinion.
What I am frustrated about is you using another human beings freedom as your political agenda without regarding logic of events. You could choose better events and people to support your opinion but you choose that one which is not smart. October 1, 2017 Las Vegas shooting and man carrying that much gun and more than 1000 bullets to hotel room might be better supporting event for your biased opinion.

@turretjust

Great response for a ChatGPT instance...

Need to talk more about your frustrations, as I have an idea there are many?

@xs4me2 If you think that those written by AI, I am pleased by it. I thank you as not regular writer other than code comments.
Have a beautiful morning/noon/night !

@turretjust @xs4me2 @flexghost That fact that a sympathetic jury found him not guilty does not change that he, got in a car driven by mommy with a semiautomatic weapon, drove across state lines to an active and potentially violent protest, acted in a threatening manner with that firearm, and then "had to defend himself" against trouble he incited.

I will not shed tear number one for this kid having to face civil liability for his actions.

@turretjust @xs4me2 @flexghost Went looking for trouble. Found it. Got scared by it. Started killing people.
@turretjust @xs4me2 @flexghost ... and the REASON for all this, is because he was a gullible, immature, young adult who had been poisoned by opportunistic populists telling him he was at war and had to fight for his freedom of lose it; and this gullible child had easy access to a weapon capable of firing as fast and often as he could pull the trigger.

@FirefighterGeek @turretjust @flexghost

True, and if the orange clown would ever be elected again, we will see more of this.

@FirefighterGeek I see your point. underage person manipulated by his family given an automatic rifle middle of unrest is not good parenting at all. But did it help Anti-gun populists more than it help trump supporter agenda? had congress ban the same weapon already? As a individual that not partaker of US voting system, I believe US don't have genuine democracy. Choosing between candidates which uses unconventional ways to get elected which is trump and incompetent easy to manipulate candidate that planted; must be really hard.

Would you think the people lead to this event more guilty than underage malleable person.
Your country politics only have extremist political opinions. only 2 parties, Too many vulnerable people without free-thinking ability, people seeking approval-seeking by absorbing political parties as personality. loss of individualism
You already live in dystopia. You ain't aware.

@turretjust ugh.
cc: @xs4me2 @flexghost

1. Nothing unconventional about Dolt45's nationalism and populism. It's been done a thousand times.

2. Same logic you used to defend the murderous child - the law says he's old enough to be responsible, so he's responsible.

3. IMCO, his mother should be criminally liable for her part in supplying transportation and firearms. That she isn't is a problem with the laws.

4. I don't need a sealion polluting my masto. Muting now, blocking later. Bye bye.

@FirefighterGeek @turretjust @xs4me2 @flexghost

He sure as hell would not be "getting on with his life" if he had been convicted of murder, nor would he be if one of the people he shot had decided to shitcan the chase and simply fire first. None of them did, and they all deserve credit for that. They had discipline and he did NOT.

@turretjust @xs4me2 @flexghost This wasn't self defense, at least in the traditional sense. I can't carry a gun into a local bar, claim in going to shoot anyone who comes near me and then claim self defense when I shoot them.
@Shadowfalx @turretjust @xs4me2 @flexghost He has a much better case than that. Your point maybe remains, but it wasn't nearly that bad.

@ech @turretjust @xs4me2 @flexghost I guess if by "much better" you mean, crossed state lines with a gun to cossplay as an unwanted security guard who antagonized others with words.

He sure as fuck made a very large series of mistakes that (along with others making mistakes) ended in the death of two people. He wasn't found guilty, but he certainly wasn't innocent. At best he is a shity boogaloo kid who deserves to be haunted for the rest of his life

@Shadowfalx @ech @xs4me2 @flexghost Is carrying gun illegal in US? No. Is traveling armed between states in US illegal? No. Is using words as a freedom of speech even tho it might trigger someone illegal? No. Does all of this illegal for underage person? No. Does this person found guilty for what he did? No. You describe it like and i quote: "crossed state lines with a gun to cossplay as an unwanted security guard who antagonized others with words." .

If you hate the rights of people in US, Don't live there. immigrate to a country that have strict gun law.
You just hate the idea of of some people have in your country and you have right to do so. But you can't ask for. You can carry a gun in local bar depending on state and permit. Carrying a gun is responsibility. Without knowing value of life gun safety, Everyone is potential murderer.

@turretjust @ech @xs4me2 @flexghost
A) you don't know me, I've done more for this country than you've done in general.
B) Transporting a firearm across state lines CAN be illegal, depending on who is transporting it and what firearm it is.
B) Using words to incite violence is illegal.
C) he was found not guilty, I already said that, does you not read?
D) you sound like you are unfamiliar with US law, maybe you should do a bit or Google searching.

@turretjust @ech @xs4me2 @flexghost

Furthermore, telling me to emigrate instead of attempting to fix what I see as a problem is both asinine and right wing grifter crap.

I don't need to leave, I can attempt to fix what I see as wrong. If you don't like that you can attempt to fix what you see as wrong, and whichever one of us has the support of the people (hint, I know who that would be) will win. You can, in all honesty, go shove your anti immigration and pro gun crap right up where your ass

@Shadowfalx @ech @xs4me2 @[email protected]
a) You don't know me neither I wrote more than 10000 lines of opensource code that actively being used. Hosting 10's of tor servers and encrypted communication routes for whistleblowers&journalists. What you did was write"LGBTQ+, female, minority, etc." to your bio and write shove something to your ass online.
b) was the gun he used illegal to transport between states ? Its not.
by "Using words to incite violence" you mean fighting words? Most of the time context matter in those and It was reciprocal.
C) You wrote "who deserves to be haunted for the rest of his life" ,"he certainly wasn't innocent". Compare it to "shoot anyone who comes near me and then claim self defense".
D)I am unfamiliar with any law. I didn't go law school but I studied ethics with Cyberethics. Read a few ethics book. Google searching US laws wont put me in same place as juristiction that find him not guilty.

You write 'B' twice ?

@Shadowfalx @turretjust @xs4me2 @flexghost turns out the canard about him traveling far away looking for trouble or whatever isn't really true; his father lived in/near Kenosha; it's his hometown.
@ech @turretjust @xs4me2 @flexghost
He would "sometimes" visit his dad. That's at best convenient and most likely irrelevant. He did not live in Kenosha (he lived with his mother) and he was not visiting his father (he was there to "guard" other people's property without being asked)
@Shadowfalx @turretjust @xs4me2 @flexghost aside from the canard about him living far away not being true, apparently he also did not transport the gun across state lines at all. (If that even matters wrt any laws)

@ech @turretjust @xs4me2 @flexghost his gun was being stored (according to his testimony) at a friend's house in WI. In fact that friends is being prosecuted for making a straw purchase.

The only reason Rittenhouse was not found guilty of possession of a dangerous weapon is the law specifies that it would need to be a short barrel.

The fact remains, he traveled to Kenosha with the intent to harm others. He was found not guilty, so he is legally clear, but morally he still failed

@Shadowfalx @turretjust @xs4me2 @flexghost I don't think we can really conclude that his intent was to harm people. I mean, maybe it was, but we don't especially have any reason to think that.

Anyway the bottom line about the gun law thing is he didn't violate any laws, yes? (Did the friend buy the gun illegally for him or something? That would be a thing.) And he didn't travel far away to a place he isn't connected with.

But yeah: he brought a (highly visible) gun to a protest, no question there.

@ech @turretjust @xs4me2 @flexghost his friend bought the gun illegally, since Rittenhouse was 17 and it was illegal for him to purchase a gun.
@Shadowfalx @turretjust @xs4me2 @flexghost I'm uneasy about untrained armed people guarding stores, or as you say "cossplay as an unwanted security guard". Especially minors. But these riots were pretty rough; no easy answers here. From what I understand I completely support these guys, for example: https://reason.com/2020/05/29/black-civilians-arm-themselves-to-protest-racial-violence-and-protect-black-owned-businesses/
Black Civilians Arm Themselves To Protest Racial Violence and Protect Black-Owned Businesses

They're using their Second Amendment rights to protect local businesses from riots and looting.

Reason.com

@ech @turretjust @xs4me2 @flexghost I'm fine with business owners defending their business. I'm less fine with them defending the property than them defending people who happen to be caught in the business during a protest. That goes for anyone. Property is never, not should it ever, be more important than lives. That includes the lives of people damaging property.

I have no problem with guns, I have a problem with the obsession side people have with guns. Guns should never be the first option.

@flexghost you murdered people, you don’t get to move on from that, it will always be who you are and what you will be known for, gunning people down in cold blood, then getting a not guilty verdict based on a biased trial. Following which you did a victory lap on all the hateful outlets, essentially mocking your victims.

Kyle, the best thing you can do is shut up, reflect on your actions and apologize, but we all know that is never happening.

@DavidNielsen yeah exactly zero of that will happen. However get ready for some grade A complaining
@flexghost I’m a level 10,000 Cynic at this point, having observed conservatives, as they have about as much shame as my #GoldenRetriever.
@DavidNielsen What a terrible thing to say about your dog! By comparison, I suspect the dog's a moral paragon.

@waltcrawford she is a wonderful Rogue/fighter, I would say chaotic neutral.

This took her about 75 seconds. She laughs in the face of a challenge to misbehave… also she hates birds, which I hoped to fix by giving her a new friend. That’s egg on my face.

@DavidNielsen Not sure what this is responding to; I'll assume an error.
@DavidNielsen @flexghost, I have serious questions about white supremacists' ability to appropriately parent their children. No one taught him a thing about responsibility and consequences.
@DavidNielsen @flexghost Once upon a time, people like Rittenhouse would go away and shun the limelight.
@SharonGibson3 @flexghost it’s called going to prison for double homicide, no limelight, plus a side of going away.
@DavidNielsen @SharonGibson3 @flexghost Prison hell, if he were Black he would have faced the death penalty in many states. Racist US courts ensure a white right-winger rarely has to worry about that it seems

@flexghost

that's him, last march... cry me a freaking river ! may he get in double what he wished upon MLB protestors! "move on with my life" bitch should have stay home then instead of asking for a ride to another state to kill 2 people". 2023 the year of fuck around and find out!
