#Idalia is now a hurricane, and other than a slight nudge west in track, the forecast is basically unchanged today. Extremely damaging and life-threatening surge is likely in the Big Bend of #Florida. Idalia should become a major hurricane later today or tonight, coming ashore in the Big Bend or east side of Apalachee Bay on Wednesday morning.

Idalia is now a hurricane and still on track to impact the Big Bend region of Florida as a major hurricane Wednesday morning – The Eyewall

@llewelly And that has what, exactly, to do with the hurricane that is already here?
@theeyewallwx I don’t wish hurricanes on anyone, but is it too much to ask for this one to veer a little west and take out the governor’s mansion in Tallahassee?
