Average Zoomer Brain
@ponysmasher Well, to be fair, David got known with very concise videos on the clock app, so yes. For everyone who used to only watch his videos there, this *is* the long for content.
What the commenter should've written is "I love you making longer form content like this!", which describes the situation quite well.
(That and you can now post 10 minute videos on the clock app for a while now, which do get a lot of watch time as well.)
@ponysmasher I'd like to laugh but I'm also using a platform designed primarily for what are short text statements and I feel the irony could bite me in the ****.
So what could my solution to this, undeniably annoying, issue of finding similarity between the two?
Some may suggest it be informed and I simply laugh as my instincts suggested I should however I feel there is an alternative. To reintroduce the longer form analysis, as done by this particular videographer.
@ponysmasher My god, when I think that *three minutes* is considered "longer form" as someone that regularly makes thirty minute to nearly an hour long retrospective content...
I think I feel my bones turning to dust.
@ponysmasher I look at this and I immediately wonder how this person would have survived in the ‘80s and ‘90s. I remember renting out ‘The Stand’ in the mid ‘90s, grabbing a bunch of snacks from the convenience store, and inviting all my friends over to watch. More than 6 hours running time. No distractions, maybe a toilet break somewhere in the middle.
In fact, I don’t think I could manage that myself these days. I wonder if our brains can get addicted to distractions?
