Just added this edit to that article after a walk and some food. In some ways, I don't think this should need to be said, but also, I think really does need to be said.
Please don't @ me, I promise I'm not attacking you. If you do think/feel that this could be about you, maybe just quietly commit to doing better?
And another edit.. I should've probably waited to publish and have these additions in there originally, but oh well.

@jrp to be honest, I was going to, but all of my options there cost money and I'm fucking broke. For now, you'll have to deal with it.

Eric Biesterfeld@jrp I think medium is trying to fight against archive.org - it definitely didn’t work for me.
@Eric Biesterfeld i made it work by going to archive.org with FF and uBlock Origin installed, then disabling 1st party scripts, when the page had loaded. Reads now.

FWIW, #SpaceHost will be giving a portion of our net revenue to the developers who create the Fediverse software we are hosting — on an ongoing basis.

If someone hosts a #Pixelfed instance with #SpaceHost — #SpaceHost will give a portion of the net revenue to the Pixelfed developer(s) on an ongoing basis.
If someone hosts a #Firefish instance with #SpaceHost — #SpaceHost will give a portion of the net revenue to the Firefish developer(s) on an ongoing basis.

We are also in the middle of creating something to help financially support the people who operate Fediverse server instances.

We want the Fediverse to continue to exist, we want it to grow, and we want it to stay decentralized.
And we know that for that to happen, the Fediverse needs to be economically viable for the people who make it exist.
@reiver is there anything you can do to support those working on moderation and trust & safety of the fediverse?
I was writing open-source software BEFORE the label "open-source" became common.
I've seen why open-source projects die —
I think we (the Fediverse community) can address many of those reasons.
And do it in a way that are consistent with our values.
