@Dharkstare @sarahv @dungeons if you've played a while you'll know that we often get killed by horses, lol
You can look up the stats for a Draft Horse online like here: https://roll20.net/compendium/dnd5e/Draft%20Horse#content. Its attack does 2d4+4 (so 6-12 base damage)
Crits allow the horse to roll its 2d4+4 twice, which is why it did even more damage
@ChrisJohnRiley @Dharkstare @sarahv @dungeons the +4 isnt a damage or ability modifier though, it IS part of the roll
Unless I misunderstand how crit works or the stat block, which could totally be the case 😅
@ChrisJohnRiley @Dharkstare @sarahv @dungeons yeah seems that's probably an accurate interpretation of that. From what I've seen a lot of DMs do a bunch of different things as far as crit goes, so you can consider it an unintended house rule for now :)
I'd hear arguments for the contrary, this is a vote-based bot after all
“let's not try it with a draft horse? “
I had six quotes, three posted. Now I can’t edit. Connection problem, not oversight. *shrug*
@CDunnPasadena @dungeons maybe one day collectively we will learn?
It's good in a sense that this is getting some traction!
@ElemenalDusts @dungeons but the bot thingy said fight!
