Elon Musk has been obsessed with destroying a much beloved brand by renaming it X for decades.

Musk wanted to call PayPal X.com, but some said it sounded like porn

Musk has tweeted that X.com "has great sentimental value" to him. But focus groups from his PayPal days weren't as high on the website name.

@carnage4life At this point, the only letter he should be using is Y.
@carnage4life Because he behaves like a child.

@carnage4life or tweet themselves as the case may be. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't mystified by how a person who at least helped get some big ideas launched into the public line of sight with SpaceX and Tesla, has seemingly been reduced to a caterwauling half melted wax work, that seems to be so many different threads of ass clown, he could rename himself King Colonbozo and no one would question it.

The guy is an absolute imbecile at this point.

@carnage4life how do you even SEO that without bringing up porn? PayPal is nirvana for SEO purposes. Surely he's always been insane? 😂
@carnage4life Is this just like that speech Chris Pine gave in Dungeons and Dragons about how you only lose if you stop trying

@carnage4life I have to wonder; if he paid $1M for the domain...why not just say "We'll redirect 'x.com' to the website; is that okay, Elon?".

I mean, I gather someone did, and he rejected the idea, but...

@carnage4life can't imagine why they pushed him out of PayPal.
@carnage4life And now, there was an unsolicited bid by an unnamed bidder to buy US Steel, a company that has a very short stock symbol - X.
I wonder who could be the bidder... 🤔
