That's "God's will" to them. Aborting once the non-viability is known, thus sparing the fetus and parents the nightmare of carrying to term, is supposedly offensive to God and thus must be banned.

That’s nearly *500 avoidable maternal deaths every single year, most of them black women, and the numbers will only get worse.
