@taco @fleece repro: enter emoji such as a flag into tour user profile text area (the one with the rich text editor) and save. When the page reloads, see mojibake where your flag was. Subsequent saves further corrupt the mojibake

@taco @fleece I don’t know what database is backing the app, but if it’s MySQL or Maria, then it might be the charset on the table where this field is stored isn’t utf8mb4 or better

i changed out the email relay on https://fursona.directory to, like, a real smtp provider now. you should be able to get emails from the website consistently. let me know if you can’t! i manually verified a bunch of people, though, so you should be able to get in either way.

@taco just one small thing I noticed with the main page on a mobile device. The footer at the bottom of the page probably shouldn’t be following the view window. On a mobile device it makes it hard to click the register or login buttons. They get covered up by the footer.

I know that’s really a linkstack issue, not exactly something you did.

@taco Nice! I don't particularly like Linktree, so an open source solution is greatly appreciated!

One thing of note: my password was too short at first, but I didn't see any errors and I got kicked back to the registration page on my phone.

Only on the desktop version did I see a ul element at the top with the error as a replaceable string.
