Hey, Apple people:

iOS 17 has a bodacious new feature called Namedrop. I tap my phone on another iOS 17 phone and they swap the owners' contact info. It's exchanging business cards, but in a useful way for the first time in human history.

However: The procedure swaps only name, photo and phone number. My phone number is the datum I least like to share. Is there some way to configure it to share email instead, or in addition?

My search fu is too weak to turn up a procedure.

choosing a new password shouldn't be a guessing game. If it doesn't work, at least tell me /WhY/.

Man something I see a lot online, but particularly on fedi where different admins have to interact more than on, say, forums, I see so many cases where people decide that an admin refuses to take action because they didn't take some action in like...a dozen or so hours since a report was made.

People have lives and moderators are (largely) unpaid volunteers. I'm online as hell and even I have days where I don't look at fedi at all. Y'all gotta chill out some and give people space to have lives. Let's talk when it's been a week.

I just got my booster at Walgreens, even though the pharmacy tried to tell me that ~unfortunately~ my (state provided) insurance doesn't cover Covid boosters anymore

So I said according to https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/programs/bridge/index.html I should be able to get it free of change no matter what, & https://www.vaccines.gov/ lists this Walgreens location as a provider, so how can we fix this? They said they needed to "check some things", & then I magically got it for free instead of $155.99
