@prairiedog #Friendica is fully inter-operational with #Mastodon and other #Fediverse-Software, you can read, react and comment on Mastodon posts from your Friendica account and vice versa. You even can use most of the apps for Mastodon on #iOS and #Android. Friendica has, however, additional functions when used in the browser - both, on PC and mobile, for example groups and community-related features, more granular permissions, photo albums, forums, no character limit, formatting of text etc. If you will, you could compare it with #Facebook / FB Groups or #Tumblr while Mastodon is more like #Twitter. Hope this helps.

@choyer I'm trying but find it baffling. Password, when was I told to set a password? Must have missed it. So clicked Forgotten password. Hoping for a reply. Profile? Can I use my mastodon.social one? No clues given. I live in hope

@DevraWiz You will receive a specific password to use with your Elsica login name. (You can’t use the Mastodon one). The password is being sent by mail. It may take a few minutes. Please also check your spam folders. Hope it helps, otherwise let me know.
