Me: Sorry, I can't set the table, there's a cat in my lap.
You: Just shoo it off!
Me: (that meme)
I am reminded of a fantasy book series I read (and very much enjoyed) where, shall we say, the characters learn about the behavior of that world's dragons and find it to be quite similar in many ways to the real-world behavior of cats 😛
(Dragon Blood by Lindsay Buroker, since it would be mean to drop a teaser like that without naming the series)

Cats _store_ gravity. That's why they're always knocking things onto the floor - when a cat knocks an item down, they store some of the gravitational potential energy internally. You notice that sometimes, like when you go to pick up a skinny looking cat and they weigh 92 pounds.
Thing is, it builds up inside them, much like when you drink a soda - the cat sits down someplace, relaxes, and suddenly "burps" out a cloud of excess gravity that crushes what they're sitting on.
Gravitational cats...
Lots and lots of strange cats! No worries, they are ultra friendly :3 Cat is chat in french :D The song is Mario paint- Gnat attack!
@MissPixiePancake You see! I have been right all along! There is no such thing as "".
Oh no, I'm not one of these flat Earth, geo-centerist nut jobs but as I've been trying to tell everyone, it is the density of cats that provides our heliocentric system 😹 Seriously, we all know how much cats love the Sun. There's loads of them living inside it! Boom! Facts & logic win the day again!
Ok, time for my meds
Cheery-bye 😉👋
