@taylorlorenz One fascinating thing about this is that ElonTwitter can & most likely will create their own reality with their choice of metrics. They'll claim the strategy 'works' based on internal metrics - but the strategy is shaping the population that's capable of providing metrics.

So the really important metrics may end up being ad revenue &, more to the point, how much financial benefit the advertisers accrue from being on Twitter. Of course those are notoriously hard metrics to get.
