@briannawu I doubt that, personally I don't see any more 'unsufferable people' than I used to see before in my Twitter bubble.
Imo people are leaving for simple technical reasons: The platform is getting more unusable by the day and now it looks like you have to pay for everything, even to read other people tweets. Ideology has very little to do with this, and inferring otherwise is wishful thinking.

@briannawu This is also why Elon will never shut down or sell Twitter no matter how many people leave it. Its part of his identity now. Compare this to Zuck who views Meta, Instagram, Threads, etc as merely a business to beat his competitors at.

@briannawu I think it's fair to be your true self on the internet. As long as you deal with the consequences. Bans, blocks, etc.

I, for one, prefer when people show their true colours from the start.
