Meine Partnerin pendelt täglich mit einer Ukrainerin aus dem Ort, deren Mann im Krieg ist, nach Mainz. Heute hat diese stolz erzählt, dass die Tochter nach 4 Jahren in Deutschland hier vor Ort Abitur mit 1,5 gemacht hat.

Das lieber Herr Merz sind die zukünftigen Stützen unserer Gesellschaft. OK, hier gerade zwei Frauen. Aber ihr Rassismus trifft auch diese.

It takes MORE petrochemicals to produce the fertilizer to grow the corn to make the ethanol than it does to just make fuel directly.

Oh, and E15 also burns more dirty and with less efficiency than regular gasoline.

EPA to allow the sale of E15 fuel blend to lower gas prices

The Environmental Protection Agency has announced it would allow gas stations to continue selling slightly cheaper E15 this summer in a move that may be good for drivers and corn growers but will likely contribute to air pollution. The higher ethanol blend is usually limited to use in winter months. But the summer waiver for E15 has become commonplace in recent years, and both Republicans and Democrats have called for it to become year-round and permanent to lower prices at the pump. In some states it’s already allowed. But not all experts are convinced the move will substantially lower gas prices.
