The entire story of the internet is cool people make a community, and then unhinged jerks want in. If you don’t moderate, the communities die.

Musk *is* allowing the worst people online to be their true selves. Antisemites. Transphobes. Misogynists. And that’s why everyone is leaving.

@briannawu I doubt that, personally I don't see any more 'unsufferable people' than I used to see before in my Twitter bubble.
Imo people are leaving for simple technical reasons: The platform is getting more unusable by the day and now it looks like you have to pay for everything, even to read other people tweets. Ideology has very little to do with this, and inferring otherwise is wishful thinking.
