@QasimRashid
That is not Just GOP framing. The Democrat leadership, currently, and in previous administrations stood against those things. "too expensive", "pie-in-the-sky", "bad for the economy," etc. On just the topic of healthcare, remember, "The public option is off the table"? Obama (who I voted for twice) came up with the plan to take 45 million uninsured and make them customers of the predatory insurance industry. And in a WH meeting he told the CEOs who crashed the world, that he was there "to protect them from the pitchforks." Our Emanuel Goldstein. It's easy to hate the hateful GOP, but ignoring the D's complicity and betrayals is disingenuous at best.
From 1904, and ever more valid.
"The Republican and Democratic parties, or, to be more exact, the Republican-Democratic party, represent the capitalist class in the class struggle. They are the political wings of the capitalist system and such differences as arise between them relate to spoils and not to principles." ~ Eugene V. Debs
