@DOMINIC999 @mimsical I've never used Twitter much but from what I've gathered, you are way more likely to make genuine connections here than on a centralized service like Twitter. I've definitely had a lot of fun on here and have done myself significantly less addicted than with Reddit or Instagram.

Emme Bravo@mimsical no, you still need an invite. unlike twitter, there’s not much engagement so people go back to twitter. today, when twitter broke, everyone flocked to bsky and the servers couldn’t handle it.

Larry Felton Johnson@mimsical This is a pair of unforced errors. I've actually decided to deliberately scroll through tweets fast enough to hit the 600 tweet limit after a minute or so every morning as a way of weaning myself off Twitter for good. It's being too ineptly run to continue to be useful, yet I habitually go there in the morning.
Twitter has provided me with a remedy for that.

AsHperson@mimsical this is what did it for me. First G+ went down, then Twitter doesn't want bots that are nice or some users that make it good. A lot of the time I share Twitter media to friends who don't have a profile.
