One of my greatest fears from day 1 of the idea of Trump as president was him having access to the most top secret intel of the US. (Many others had this same fear.) Trump is a unique threat to the national security if the country. The many in the GOP who support this dangerous buffoon are despicable.

Of course he wants to be reelected in order to save himself from jail time. Easily predictable and also a threat to the rule of law.

Opinion | How Screwed Is Trump?

The former president faces his most serious legal threat to date, but he is hard at work on his most potent defense — his reelection bid.

POLITICO
@TonyStark It was obvious by autumn of 2015 that Trump was a clear and present danger to the United States of America, and would only become more so as President.
@ricardoharvin @TonyStark Trump proved what kind of danger he was when he went full birther in 2012...

@toxtethogrady @TonyStark That was a testament to his fundamentally racist character, not directly an indication of his threat to national security.

Remember, full-blown racism is literally foundational to this nation, e.g. 3/5ths and the genocide that undergirded Manifest Destiny.

@ricardoharvin @TonyStark @toxtethogrady Sorry but there is so much misunderstanding about the 3/5 compromise

the 3/5 compromise DID NOT say that slaves were 3/5 of a person. it said that SLAVE OWNERS got more votes — each slave owner was 160% of a person, times how many slaves they owned.

the slaves themselves were not people, not even 3/5 people. they were only counters on the board.

@ricardoharvin @TonyStark @toxtethogrady The true shame of Amerikkka is that the Northern “founding fathers” went along with this farce just to be free from England — the original home of the slave trade.

so it’s no wonder they screwed up the language of the well-regulated militia amendment.

@kmmfoo @ricardoharvin @TonyStark Maybe they got it right but the interpreters who followed them got it all wrong. Especially those who were chosen and bribed to do it...

@toxtethogrady @TonyStark @ricardoharvin

Okay, potato potato. I’ve often been catastrophically misunderstood or misinterpreted because of the unwitting inclusion of an errant comma.

@ricardoharvin @kmmfoo @toxtethogrady It was about how population was counted so I’m not sure that’s accurate however despicable of course.

@ricardoharvin @toxtethogrady @TonyStark “Despicable” being the key word.

I’m just disappointed that people to this day still say that the founding fathers only considered slaves to be 3/5 of a person. They totally did not. They did not consider slaves (or women, let’s be clear) to be persons at all. They just considered slave-owners to be super-persons.

@kmmfoo @TonyStark @toxtethogrady I kept it simple and non-pedantic because this is social media and I ain't doing constitutional studies here.

I have not misunderstood anything about how this nation has and continues to see me, thanks.

@ricardoharvin @TonyStark It was clear, that Trump is a national security threat, after he traveled to Moscow on July 4th, 1987, & 2 months later had full-page ads in the Washington Post, the New York Times & the Boston Globe published, trying to drive wedges between the United States & her allies.
(Not only the Soviet) Intelligence agencies should have had their eyes on him at the time already.

That Time Trump Spent Nearly $100,000 On An Ad Criticizing U.S. Foreign Policy In 1987

A jab at Reagan?

BuzzFeed News

@ArenaCops @TonyStark He didn't have anywhere near the level of influence then as he had by 2015, and thus could not and did not pose as serious a threat.

No one could have considered him a clear and present danger in 1987, that would have been laughable.

A threat? Maybe, sure.

Yes, he's been a Russian asset for decades, but he's only been a serious and immediate threat to our national security for less than one, so far.

@ricardoharvin @TonyStark Do not miss to mention eg the Trump-Putin meeting & performance in Helsinki, including a secretive tête à tête between the two, no one except the interpreters knows the contents of.

He's been a national security threat for much longer than less than 1 year, already due to his sociopathic disorder.

@ArenaCops @ricardoharvin I’m not into speaking for Ricardo as he always knows what he’s talking about and doesn’t need me to do it but one decade, not one year, is what he said and is on target for when foreign powers really figured out how to attack us through and with Trump.
The Hidden History of Trump’s First Trip to Moscow

In 1987, a young real estate developer traveled to the Soviet Union. The KGB almost certainly made the trip happen.
