One of my greatest fears from day 1 of the idea of Trump as president was him having access to the most top secret intel of the US. (Many others had this same fear.) Trump is a unique threat to the national security if the country. The many in the GOP who support this dangerous buffoon are despicable.

Of course he wants to be reelected in order to save himself from jail time. Easily predictable and also a threat to the rule of law.

@toxtethogrady @TonyStark That was a testament to his fundamentally racist character, not directly an indication of his threat to national security.

Remember, full-blown racism is literally foundational to this nation, e.g. 3/5ths and the genocide that undergirded Manifest Destiny.

the 3/5 compromise DID NOT say that slaves were 3/5 of a person. it said that SLAVE OWNERS got more votes — each slave owner was 160% of a person, times how many slaves they owned.

the slaves themselves were not people, not even 3/5 people. they were only counters on the board.
