mmmm sad
apparently going forward not (all) the fallout warfare minis will come with cool greebly bases
plain bases, noooooo. need to get glue and fake grass and sand xD
wait. this is games workshop made to order minis and... i am 100% this is the really old shit?
did they literally just shuffle out decades old minis for this?
i might have been wrong about that jungle fighter being made to order
games workshop's website and community page is extraordinarily newbie hostile
there was a community post about made to order post like 3 weeks ago, but google doesn't find it either
i literally went to the subreddit and searched there
is there a category on the games workshop site? no
is there a filter? no
do they explain ANY of this information to you? no
the best part is whenever people ask questions about this on the sub (you know, because no one fucking tells them), they usually get downvoted, and no one tells them anything
amazing system
my minis are in seattle
not sure if they'll make it to me today. possibly monday
i think i talked myself down from the vault modular pieces for now
still reallllly want them
but i should focus on minis and paint to get better
they'd be real good if i actually play tho
but also they come pre-painted! so +value. but also -value because i don't need to paint them lol
also unlike non-official/licensed stuff it actually gets to have a sign that says "red rocket" lololol
NEED THAT OFFICIAL DOGMEAT WANG JOKE
yeah i don't think i'm getting my minis today, and usps doesn't deliver sundays
monday it is
i can do it. i can not buy anything till then xD
what a good fucking idea lol
the op calls it a wrecked vehicle, but i really feel like it's some (maybe abandoned?) desert facility with a research lab, hydroponics, living quarters, etc
looks super cool
i like the idea of making a modular diorama type level, where there are maybe 2-3 stages you progress in one direction and there's some giant boss model at the end
very mobile video game but it works if YOUR APARTMENT IS TINY LOL
a 24 sub channel making a fallout 4 inspired diner
no talking, good music, just sped up showing you how she built it
i do not think i'd have the patience to glue tiles individually lol

i wonder if a metal mini makes sense as a practice mini
paint it, strip the paint, experiment some more, etc
both my paints and minis got delayed to monday
if i worked mon-fri this might annoy me xD
did two coats of slightly thicker varnish (same vallejo ultra matt)
unfortunately one of the last minis i finished painting the other day... was not totally dry lol
sort of smeared some of the paint on the base rim
WHOOPS
the only way this could be worth it is if some useless rich fuck bought it, broke it, and ebayed it for cheap
so you buy it for $200 and fix it with $20 worth of super glue and $200 worth of your own time
but like, i am 100000% sure i could custom build a pip-pad for less than that
just buy a fucking rpi and screen and get someone with a 3d printer to help me build a shell
lmaooooooooooo
(apparently he bought it for $800 and was trying to repair it)
also when it fell it sounded super fucking heavy
super thicc
it's resin right. how much does that monstrosity fucking weigh, collapsing under its own weight lololol
@rje enabler
ENABLER
@rje honestly it is 100% better for me the more delayed this is lololol
DON'T WANNA GO DOWN THAT RABBIT HOLE AGAIN
