also he's entertaining. these aren't dry, protracted lectures or anything. there's a real focus on making sure the educational side of things is entertaining while also making sure to focus on how archaeology can bring a new perspective to how we approach things and even in some videos about how archaeology tourism is fucking terrible and destructive and how respect for the people both modern and historical should govern how we approach handling things

not only does he actually point out how there's a history of racism and dismissiveness of non-white cultures especially when discussing them, but he's also like... super specific in talking about the dangers of the sort of misinformation in these conspiracies and how they've fed into historical and modern racism!
and beyond that, he goes into detail! like a lot of detail! these are typically 30-60 minute videos that talk about the conspiracy for a couple minutes and then go into entertaining and reasonably comprehensive detail about what we've actually learned, how that research is done, where the research is lacking, and what we just can't know!
