It's my birthday later this week so we tried to go for a nice day out, only to be rained off. Of course now we're home, it's coming out nice again, but such is life.

I guess this is fate telling me that Untitled Hex Prototype is actually going to be a huge hit and I should stop going outside to do things and instead just work on that all weekend?

Sadly fate didn't mention that one object in my placeholder farm model was going to decide to just...not interact with light in any way?

It uses the same material as everything else, looks and behaves the same way under light in Blender, but remains stubbornly unlit in Godot.

It'll turn out to be something very simple of course, but for now...how odd!

Next task on my list just reads "make it into a real game" so I think it might be time to break that down a bit now...
