Now for something completely different: Broken Pieces. I found I either love European adventure games (The Council, A Plague Tale) or absolutely hate it, but the slight risk taking element makes it worth trying.

Plus I always prefer hating something passionately than nothing it.

I'm screaming it has an option of fixed camera this is the best ever it's like Silent Hill 3 all over again

I'm opting French voice despite of I understand less than zero French. In A Plague Tale I felt it was unfortunate that you don't have an option where the French spoke French and the English spoke English, hopefully in here they are actually all French characters.

Binary Domain still wins though. Everyone spoke their native language, unless there are reasons why they don't. I don't know why that isn't the default.

Is Elise a squatter. Her door isn't even om the door frame.

Literally every game ever needs an option where I can read a journal in its entirety, rather than having it read to me line by line and it takes three times as long, and if I missed a line I need to waste another minute and half of my life to relisten again.

Quality of Life score for Broken Pieces is 2/10 because of this.

No shit every ghost is trying to kill Elise. She just casually creates storms whenever for her convenience.

Why are the ghosts killable by bullets anyway.

I'm absolutely convinced that Elise is superficially cool as a cucumber, but really she's madder than a hatter and is entirely dependent on psilocybin mushrooms.

Aaaaand it's yet another game that thinks itself as clever by making using a simple item unnecessarily difficult.

I'm suddenly having this massive, hey I played a game that feels just like this some time ago feel, except it's so generic I can't remember what.

It involved looking for some abandoned drums but then I think it turns to light or something?

I'm giving up on this. This is the ultimate UserInYerFace game, where it felt it's above something sensible like press an action button to result in an action.

For example I'm at a puzzle where it requires removing scarecrows. But how? There are absolutely no buttons allow this. Starting storm doesn't work. Nor is shooting at it because apparently Elise is only capable of pull out a gun _sometimes_ when there are ghosts. I'd say 30% of the time she just stands stupidly and stares.

I'm pretty sure it's going to be one of those L1+R1+X+joystick QWOP to open a door games. It's honestly not interesting enough for this.

Solid 1/10 kind of games, made in 2022 and has less functionality than the first Resident Evil. The only thing going for it is you have the option of an old survival horror camera, and I liked (but not loved) the visuals of stage setting.
