I’m halfway through #dearx and whew. The acting, the cinematography, everything is wonderful. A lot of us wanted a S2 of #theglory and while this isn’t it the dynamic between the leads reminds me of the “heroine” and “hero” of that drama. That’s where the semblance ends. I hate spoilers so I’ll leave it at that. #kdrama

Interesting. Although I watched both #TheGlory and #Vincenzo from beginning to end, I took the violence in Vincenzo as fantastical ie made to feel over the top because how many of us can relate to organized crime and the repercussions. The Glory however proved a bit more difficult to swallow and I had to look away a few times. This type of peer violence is happening everyday although maybe not to such an extreme but the revenge was masterfully executed.

@Reineamie215 that makes two of us because I didn’t make it past ep 3 of Vincenzo either (mainly because I can’t stand SJK lol) #theglory was really good, not sure if I can watch it again tho (might give it a couple more years). #taxidriver S1 was great, S2 was pushing it— I hope S3 goes for more depth over violence

Read the thread on violence in #kdrama land. I made it through s1 of #taxidriver but decided to skip S2. I feel that #theglory is a masterpiece of revenge being served cold. I think I’m the only person who never made it past ep 3 of #vincenzo. Ironically I found the Korean version of #boysbeforeflowers unwatchable because of the violence.
I liked #revenant and #dearhongrang otherwise I don’t watch a lot of horror.

Okay. I understand that watching any dramatic series Western or Asian requires a certain amount of suspension of belief. That said #theglory #cdrama wants viewers to believe a woman who maybe weighs 90lbs soaking wet is capable of dragging a corpse over a decent distance? Were there no villagers with a cart roaming around? Sheesh.
