there's a lot of arguing about which universe has better directed energy weapon output and i just wanna point out overkill doesn't actually matter that much if you can still punch through armor and kill the guy inside that's more or less what counts 99.99999% of the time

after reading the 40k wiki page for astartes power armor i admit it is superior to fallout power armor
however, you still cannot eat a nuke to the face xD
and taking decades to manufacture one suit is... probably not cost effective for most universes outside 40k

i kinda like the idea of like... merging warfare and 2d20 and my permadeath toons from the video games
use the rpg/warfare stuff for side quest scenarios that would be a pita to re-create in any of the video games
