You're judging a platform because of one user, promoting one [admittedly stupid/dangerous] person, one time. You wouldn't even see that post without following someone who surfaced to you or going looking for it. Cynical, unfair, and irrational.

KnowAttitudeTracking what/who Jack promotes on a platform he started/backed seems like a rational and fair form of situational awareness to me.
And its not only that the named person is admittedly stupid/dangerous but the damage this kind of
propaganda/promotion can do.
It's not about "the thing that bothers you" It's about the propaganda/advertising/boosting/promotion to a large audience of that person and what surrounds him.

Regardless I still don't think you can call time of death on an entire platform that honestly has been going really well and has been a remarkably positive experience for most so far. I didn't see his posts about this. Just don't give up on the entire project/community because of one thing jack did is all

@sdlizlifestyle @MissingThePt jack's only involvement is that he gave them $13 million of twitter's money several years ago and he now has one board seat with basically no influence. he has no controlling stake and the shares he was given for advising do not give him any level of control. the CEO of Bluesky is Jay Garber.
