A side-benefit has been not having to take the recycling down every other day because of all the extra glass/cans.
I wouldn't say I feel more energized/productive, but it does seem like there are more hours in my day. I'm sure that's related--probably waking up earlier, staying up later, and not "skipping" moments from the intoxication.
