Then they won’t do anything. I hated it.” :-) - so always treated their friends w/ respect and I became the “cool dad” lol

Only semi-related, but I do want a game that has a diplomacy system like the one in Space Empires V though, but with AI that actually uses it properly. It specifically let you say things like "remove your military from this territory because x, y, z" or "stop spying on our research facilities" or "stop trading with x because reasons" or whatever.
