When disclosing your autism (to someone who is surprised), there's a big difference between "Ooh! Now I can understand your reactions better," or "Ooh! Now I get you!" and "Ooh! Thaaat's what's wrong with you."

@hmm_cook I’ve mainly got the last one. That and when people have asked my dad what is wrong with me and he explained I’m autistic, they said “hmm that explains a lot.”

@hmm_cook I just suck at masking. I can’t pretend to be neurotypical no matter how hard I try. It’s very obvious that I’m not.
