The funny thing is they don’t even try, that’s why there’s accounting data that shows how they’ve managed to increase costs for everyone except the very wealthy whenever they hold power. But…they spin incessantly about the other guys being poor money managers, and people believe it. Few seem to ask themselves, “How do know if what they’re saying is true?” So there’s no need to use creative accounting.
This is one of the reasons why two-party systems are dysfunctional, or FPTP rules which lead to two-party systems.
All this polarisation is evil and unnecessary.
