@TJ1001 I’m not a hardline Vegan animal rights campaigner, but on this one I’m with the protestors. We don’t run human athletes to the point of death, and if they decide to compete in risky sports it’s their own choice.
I’m sincerely sorry for the poor horses that needlessly suffer and die in this farce of a race every year. The National may be enjoyable to some, but to me it’s simply an annual tragedy.
