To keep salaried employees so emotionally exhausted and #depressed that they wouldn't be able to organize and lead the predicted rebellion against the wealthy.

When you make this into a movie, I would like it to be in a gritty cyberpunk style with a slightly retro feel. Also, my daddy issues just texted and said that Keanu Reeves needs to play a wholesome-yet-badass paternal figure to the visibly queer character that is exactly my age for some reason.
