It’s an oral history so quick to read and gives the clearest examples I’ve read recently about how the State was conspiring against the miners as well as gay history. 7. A book about grief, faith, the opioid crisis, immigration and science doesn’t sound like the sort of thing I’d read. But I loved Gyasi’s Homegoing so i thought I’d give it a try and I’m glad I did. A beautiful story gorgeously told. #AmReading #2023books #YaaGyasi #TranscendentKingdom

12. This definitely isn’t a book I expected to read. But then I kept seeing good reviews and it was on display when I went in the library so I had to give it a try. I’m glad I did.
