@gruber I know your mobile view isn’t optimised, but recently it has become almost impossible to view it properly. If I double-tap an article it goes into an oddly zoomed in view. And if I try to pinch to zoom - it goes to the all tabs view.
iOS 26.2, on a 17 Pro Max.
Is this just iOS being ‘Alan Dye’ [shit]

@gruber when I heard the Alan Dye news (YAY!), I wondered if his decision was, in part, precipitated by now reporting to Tim Cook, following Jeff Williams’ retirement?

Maybe AD didn’t like reporting to him. Or maybe TC didn’t like what he found, and it was the push AD needed.

Sounds like @siracusa will be getting a Mac Studio.

If Apple are no longer bothering with the Mac Pro it is probably because of poor sales, but if you neuter it as a computer, then of course there will be poor sales.

@siracusa your bug- did you try 1) Retrobatch for the process (less sucky than Shortcuts). 2) duplicate the files in the Finder and rename them as if they were the resized files?
