AHA, @mwichary , here is where I saw a definite "bold" font -- in your booklet #2. "LAKE LAGUNITAS TROUT REGULATIONS". Though I can't tell whether "bold" was done with a deeper v-shaped bit or a different bit entirely. Not going to look for the answer to that, but if I happen to run into someone with an operational Gorton engraving machine I might ask them to make me a couple of signs. 🤔
It seems like we're all getting squeezed one way or another. Sometimes that's good, sometimes not. #oracle #exadata #autonomous #26ai

I'm still skeptical that the Gemini developers will actually see my complaint, even in aggregate. But I'm definitely detecting some snark in the training data.
On holiday in Europe this week, one of the stops was in Antwerp, Belgium. I just happened to visit the Museum Plantin-Moretus, which has the two oldest surviving movable metal type printing presses in the world. Not as old as Gutenberg's, but they are the real deal, and many of them still work. The guy who demonstrated one, who looked about as old as Gutenberg, printed one page for me in real time. I wonder if @jeffjarvis has ever been there to see those.

Skater dude from L.A. yesterday is my hero. No wonder ChickenHead is running from him. (Yeah, the big giveaway that I generated it with Sora is that DumbAss could never run that fast).
