Introduction 1: Hi! My name is Sebastian. I am a Ph.D. at University of Stavanger and a part of #Greenhouse, an #envhum center. My background #history and #anthropology so I guess that I am both and neither.

My thesis situates #environmentaljustice in a #danish context. I am critical of the green and egalitarian image of the Nordic Region

Specifically, I am tracing a Danish #pesticide producer, #cheminova responsible for the three most extensive and severe contaminated sites in Denmark.

Intro 2: I work with local #environmentalists whose struggles has become intergenerational. I am interested in #Ambivalence #rumors #hauntology #ghosts and discursive formations of #pollution + counter-hegemonic narratives and #envjus #storytelling.

I ask about #toxicity in a (predominantly) white privileged space. I am inspired by Murphy's "Alterlife" in understanding what it to mean when industrially produced chemicals have become a part of living-being

Intro 3: the things I forgot (I knew it would happen). Me and some (academic, but still) friends have started a group/network called TReN #toxicity research network that operating through a discord platform and have a monthly reading group. I aim to make a space for the network here when time allows me to. Also I’m a part of #HistoriansForFuture a #ClimateJustice group that tries to figure out the role of history in these catastrophic times. HMU if you wanna join one or both!
